![]() ![]() ![]() We’ve said it again and again, Washington is one of the toughest teams in the league to figure out. Place your bet on the Lions at FanDuel and Get $150 in Bonus Bets. The Lions are also excellent against the spread and have been dating back to the middle of last season. They can run up the score in ways the Packers can’t, particularly because of Love’s recklessness in throwing the ball down the field when pressured into making plays late in the game (see the Steelers game). We like the Lions because of a term we’re coining: blowoutability. Their offense ranks sixth in scoring per game (27.2), and they can get after the passer and stuff the run. They turned the ball over four times against the Bears last Sunday and still walked away with a 31-26 win, making them the only team with 4+ turnovers to win the same game this season. The Lions are 8-2 with seven wins in their last eight games. Their defense also hasn’t faced a ton of great offenses but still ranks 10th in points allowed and does a nice job against the pass. It hasn’t been pretty, but the Packers won two of their last three games and just beat the LA Chargers in one of Jordan Love’s better (and most importantly, cleaner) games as a professional.
